Rules

These are the rules for using this site, the store, and any infrastructure Aegis shares across servers (membership billing, the ban-appeal system, Linked Roles). They're separate from — and don't override — whatever rules an individual server's own owner and staff set for their own community. We don't write or enforce those; that server does.

Fair use of the store & economy

• Don't exploit, automate, or script interactions with the store, the bot's currency system, or the login flow.
• Don't use multiple Discord accounts to get around a per-account limit on a shop item, coupon, or reward.
• Report a bug that lets you gain currency or items you shouldn't have — don't use it. We can reverse a purchase or transaction we reasonably believe resulted from a bug or exploit.

Ban appeals

• Submit an appeal honestly. Appeals are tied to your real Discord account and the real case on that server — misrepresenting what happened doesn't help your case and may itself be grounds for that server's staff to decline it.
• The decision on any appeal belongs to that server's own staff, not to us — we provide the tool, not the judgment call.

Account & access

• Log in with your own Discord account. Don't use someone else's account or credentials to buy something, appeal a ban, or access the dashboard here.
• Don't impersonate Aegis, its staff, or Discord staff anywhere on this site or in a server the bot is in.
• Dashboard access reflects the Discord role a server's own owner assigns you there — don't attempt to reach dashboard pages or data your assigned role doesn't cover.

What happens if these are broken

We can suspend your access to the store, membership, or appeal system on this site if we reasonably believe one of these rules was broken. This site doesn't control whether you're banned, kicked, or muted in any individual Discord server — that's always that server's own call, made by its own staff, under its own rules.

Changes

We may update these rules as the site changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new rules.
